Driving Innovation: TCO Awards $35,000 in Prizes

In the article "TCO Awards $35,000 in Prizes in Innovation Competition," GW Today covered the results of the annual Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) Innovation Competition. Six teams competed in two tracks, life science and physical sciences, for a total of $35,000 with Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Xitong Liu's team placing first in the physical sciences track and winning $10,000. The event also featured an induction ceremony for 23 new inventor members and seven new honor members of GW's NAI chapter as well as an announcement that Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Charles Garris was named a 2023 NAI Fellow in December.
