Write Yours in the CEE Department

The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area is home to some of the most outstanding research and development facilities in the nation, and is an excellent location for studying environmental engineering. Listen as some of our students talk about their experiences.

Audra Foster had the opportunity to work on a long-term project with DC Water. There she gained valuable experience in a field of civil engineering that was new to her.

Lauren Feely discusses the reasons that she chose GW, including the ability to easily study abroad as an engineer and the wide range of student organizations available to civil engineering students to join.

Gabriella Parra's advice to civil engineering students is to take advantage of the opportunity to work with faculty doing innovative research in a variety of fields.
