Dr. Hamdar receives funding to develop AI systems to help people with health problems drive safely

Dr. Hamdar's team will create high quality image and video datasets using driving simulators, and then train and test advanced AI systems to predict and detect driver fatigue, seizure, stroke, or cardiac arrest, all of which can contribute to traffic accidents.
